What's the best vacation you've ever been on?

Back in 2012, two friends and I drove from Calgary to Anchorage through the Yukon as a bachelor party for men who prefer German-style board games. Bears, old-timey petroleum distillate pumps, the occasional midnight pail of bacon. Driving across the Top of the World Highway (Poker Creek Population: 2) and a clear view of Denali. The Chevy Suburban purchased specifically for the trip died right after my friends dropped me off at Ted Stevens International, before they could even get back on the highway. Which had a poetic ring to it. Maybe not for my friends, though, who sold its carcass for parts.
